Love this, Egor. People have been on sailboats for millennia so I'm certain that by now everything's been said about them there is to say. Yet, you crafted an essay which does what great writing does, which is set a mood and gives the reader a sense of place in your topic, the more timeless, the better.
A brilliant reminder that life - for certain, non-digital, outdoor life - isn't comprised of our goals (e.g. a cold drink), but rather all the inevitable but unknown events and tasks which precede it.
